Gorgeous, hand tailored skirt suit in muted raspberry pink with black trim, from the late 1940s/early 50s.
Constructed of a silk blend, with rayon trim; this suit is unlined.
Collarless bodice has long, dolman sleeves; front hip pockets; scalloped bottom hem; nipped waist; black curly-q trim; (4) hook/eye closures at front. Triangular shoulder pads; sewn in waist definer.
Skirt has a scalloped hem with black curly-q trim; zipper and hook/eye closure at back; there is a fabric flaw where one yarn is whitish, not raspberry - it's barely noticeable.
