Stunning 1920s gown in a sheer, black silk chiffon with an attached cape of silk and Chantilly lace.
Bias cut; sleeveless dress with attached cape that drapes over the shoulders; cape is the same silk chiffon with a 6" Chantilly lace border.
Chantilly lace comprises the bottom section of the dress, just below the hips, down about 18" with about 3" silk chiffon hem; small silk chiffon bow just below the left hip.
Pullover style slips on over the head; no closures.
Very sheer; you will need an under-dress or a slip to wear underneath.
Recommended for a Large. Measurements are taken flat, doubled as necessary. These are garment measurements and you need to allow room for movement.
Excellent condition. This gorgeous dress is very wearable with care, as it is silk chiffon, and silk Chantilly lace is delicate by its nature. There is an overlap of the lace on the center front of the skirt (it might be a mend but it doesn't look damaged). A tiny mend to the lace on the cape; one at the right hip on the front; a few tiny breaks in the lace elsewhere; small pinhole at the neckline.
