Authentic, 1920s silk dress in black silk with silk illusion lace in a rare large size.
Cream silk shantung insert at bodice covered with silk lace; pin tucks at shoulders.
Silk lace at sleeves above wrists (unlined), finished with silk bands.
Black trim at back of neckline; around waist; at sleeves above silk lace.
Articulated neckline; low waist with; straight skirt with slight gathers at waist.
Silk lace panel bodice snaps together at left side.
Slip-over style with snap closures at left side of bodice panel.
Intended to be worn loosely, this dress is recommended for a size Large. Measurements are taken flat, doubled as necessary. These are garment measurements and you need to allow room for body movement.

Condition is Museum quality/near mint! I find no breaks in the lace. There are some tiny pin holes here and there; some very light stress at the back center seam. A bit of soiling at the neckline. The back center seam has been let out at the bottom 3" - I think this was a sewing error as it appears rather one-sided. This isn't readily obvious - you have to look for it to find it. This has not been cleaned.
