Gorgeous, 1920s embroidered silk tabard dress in creamy silk chiffon with a China silk lining.
Front and back of dress are two separate panels of silk chiffon, embroidered in a window pane pattern with insets of gathered silk chiffon at the sides; edges are neatened and the panels are overcast stitched.
V-neckline; pleated, short sleeves of silk chiffon are sewn to the lining; attached sash with rolled roses at dropped waist snaps closed at left side.
Snap closures at left side from shoulder to waist on both dress and lining; slips over head and shoulders.

Very good condition - some loose and missing embroidery threads; sash may need to be stitched to the dress in a couple places and the rolled roses are shattered; some pin holes; general soiling/light staining. There are 3 large, light stains to the front and back of the bodice. This has not been cleaned.
