Gorgeous and unique Art Deco crystal necklace from the 1920s. I have never seen another one like this!
Graduated, clear rock crystals, are hand cut into thick, trapezoid shapes with faceted edges.
Most are diamond shaped, some are almost square.
The unique shape catches the light like no other crystal necklace can - photos do not do this piece justice.
Crystals are strung on cording with rondelle spacer beads; brass spring ring closure.
Although this necklace has its faults, they do not detract from the beauty of this piece!
This piece is not signed.
Measures 18" in length; largest crystal measures 22mm long (just under 3/4").
Good/Fair condition. Crystals have minor scratching and various sizes of chips. The necklace has a hand knotted repair and is missing a spacer bead.
