Beautiful, 1950s exquisitely tailored skirt suit in the New Look style with a nipped waist and a generously pleated skirt.
Constructed of blue and black satin brocade, in an Asian floral pattern.
Jacket has 3 glass buttons at front; 3/4 length cuffed sleeves, each with a glass button.
Darts at the bust, and waist, both front and back.
Skirt has a banded waist; darts at front, back and hips; metal zipper and button closure.
Both pieces are unlined; no label. This has not been cleaned.
