Vintage 1930s Tibetan Buddhas turquoise glass and brass collar necklace.
Beautifully hand made with fourteen hinged brass plaques and a fifteenth, round detachable plaque that serves as the clasp.
The Buddhas wear five-pointed crowns; are in a sitting meditation position on all of the plaques with the exception of the two end plaques, the Buddhas are in a leaping position.

Measures 2" wide; interior circumference is approximately 20" in closed position.
Condition is very good. Surface scratching/tarnishing overall; some missing glass; some of the crowns are dented/damaged; one Buddha is missing a hand. There is a thin metal piece on the clasp that is damaged as well. This does not detract from the overall look of the piece. This is an unusual and elaborate collar necklace that can be worn or displayed as part of any collection.
