Gorgeous 1920s Flapper cocoon coat. Constructed of rich, silk velvet in jet black, this full-length coat fully lined in cream silk over cotton batting. Wonderful ruching at the cocoon collar and down the forearms of the sleeves; sleeves are wide; (2) button loop closures at neckline and waist, with velvet covered buttons; velvet ties at the neckline.

Very good condition. Velvet fabric is sturdy and totally wearable. The lining has started to shatter along the neckline, bottom seam and cuff seams; lining shows stains. In general, some very faint wear spots to the velvet, minor crushing and a small hole behind the lower button. Lower button is a replacement or the velvet has lost its pile.
